G.B. Pant University of Agriculture & Technology (GBPUAT), Pantnagar has released the GBPUAT Recruitment 2026 notification for 20 Teaching Personnel posts on a contractual basis for the First Semester of the Academic Year 2026-27. The vacancies are available across various disciplines including Botany, Chemistry, Mathematics, Statistics, English and Biotechnology. Candidates possessing a Ph.D. or a Master’s degree with the prescribed qualifications and NET/SLET, where applicable, are eligible to attend the walk-in interview. The recruitment will be conducted through a walk-in interview scheduled for 3 August 2026. Interested candidates should report with all required documents at the designated venue.

Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must possess a Ph.D. in the relevant subject.
Alternatively, candidates with a Master’s degree in the relevant discipline with at least 60% marks (55% for SC/ST/Differently-abled candidates) are eligible.
NET/SLET qualification is mandatory wherever conducted by ICAR, UGC or CSIR.
In the absence of Ph.D./NET-qualified candidates, candidates with a First Class M.Sc. may be considered.
Educational Requirement
Ph.D. in the concerned subject.
Master’s Degree in the relevant discipline with at least 60% marks (55% for SC/ST/Differently-abled candidates).
NET/SLET where applicable.
First Class M.Sc. where Ph.D./NET candidates are not available.
Other Requirement
Candidates must bring original documents along with self-attested photocopies.
Bio-data should be prepared in the prescribed format.
Experience certificates, publications and category certificates (if applicable) should be produced.
Candidates should report by 10:00 AM on the interview date.
Salary
Candidates with Ph.D./NET: ₹650 per hour (Maximum ₹30,000 per month)
Candidates with Master’s Degree only: ₹550 per hour (Maximum ₹25,000 per month)
